Regardless of the industry you operate in, if you have a physical business location, you would need to have an outdoor sign installed at the entrance to your property. It is one of the best ways to attract the attention of passers-by and to create a good brand presence.
We at Dave’s Signs are one of the front running companies in this industry and offer a wide variety of outdoor signs of different types. The materials used in fabricating outdoor signs are entirely different from indoor ones. This is because they need to stand up well to the weather.
Outdoor Sign Materials
The different materials that we use in outdoor signage include:
- Aluminum – This material is widely used in outdoor signage as it is resistant to moisture, dust, cold as well as heat. It can maintain its appearance for a long time with very little maintenance. You don’t have to worry about problems such as rusting. It is incredibly lightweight as well, which means it can be installed on various surfaces very easily.
- PVC – This is on other material that is commonly used for outdoor signage. It is affordable and durable and much heavier than aluminum. This particular property makes it ideal for areas that experience high winds. The material is an excellent investment as it retains its appeal and appearance for many years.
- Alumalite – It is an aluminum composite material with a core made of high-density polyallomer. The material will not warp or swell in the rain or when exposed to moisture. While it does not have the excellent weather-resistant properties of aluminum, it can last for many years in outdoor locations.
